Now that face masks have become a requirement in many peoples' wardrobes to cut down the spread of the coronavirus, sewing aficionados and other volunteers have stepped up to make masks for nurses, essential workers, and other people in need. Indeed, the Beacon has reported on several groups who have made hundreds of handmade masks since the pandemic began.

There is a new effort with another ambitious goal: A Mask For Every Child.
