City announces separation with Mill Creek Police Chief Greg Elwin

The police chief has been on paid administrative leave since mid-January.

Former Police Chief Greg Elwin is no longer a City employee.

The City announced Elwin's departure from the City in a press release on May 7, and it was the first time the City made a public announcement of the change in leadership within the police department. Scott Eastman has been quietly serving as acting police chief since mid-January when Elwin was put on leave.

City Manager Michael Ciaravino put Elwin on paid administrative leave after a vote of no-confidence from the Mill Creek Police Guild. Elwin was also investigated for allegations of misconduct, including associating with peopl...
