Attorney General Bob Fergusen sent JoAnn Chan of Mill Creek a cease and desist letter for selling N95 masks on Amazon for six times their normal price.
The Washington Attorney General's office sent a Mill Creek business owner a cease and desist letter for selling N95 masks on Amazon for more than six times their normal price, according to a news release on Wednesday.
JoAnn Chan of Unaffiliated Nature reportedly sold the masks for $41.24 between Feb. 10 to March 16; she had previously been selling the masks for $6.68, the Attorney General's office said. Amazon alerted the attorney general of the reported price-gouging.
