All City parks closed in Mill Creek

All City parks are closed, effective March 23 at 4 p.m. due to the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The City of Mill Creek has ordered the closure of all parks to slow the spread of COVID-19. This order is effective at 4 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2020.

The order affects the following parks:

-Buffalo Park

-Cougar Park

-Exploration Park

-Heron Park

-Highlands Park

-Hillside Park

-Library Park

-Mill Creek Sports Park

-Nickel Creek Park

-Pine Meadow Park

-Silver Crest Park

The closure includes picnic shelters, basketball and tennis courts, ballfields and other active recreation locations. Restrooms at the parks are currently closed.

As of March 23, Mill Creek had 15 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and no deaths, according to the Snohomish Health District.
