Here are some ways to be useful:

Volunteer Chore - There is no fancy or cute way for me to describe this volunteer job. It is exactly as titled. Assist with things like dishes, laundry, vacuuming and so on. It doesn’t take a lot of time. Matched with someone in your area, you and the client agree on the schedule. This helps clients stay in their homes and maintain some degree of independence.
