Jackson goes 1-2 at Wesco meet | Cross country

The one-two punch of Brenden Charbeneau and Jordan Hansen proved to be a potent combination for Jackson.

Charbeneau and Hansen finished first and second in the Wesco boys cross country championships and helped lead the Timberwolves to a first-place finish Saturday, Oct. 26, at Lakewood High School.

Jackson won the meet with 61 points, head of Arlington (77) and Kamiak (138).

Charbeneau finished the 5k course in 15 minutes, 53.8 seconds and was followed by Hansen (15:57.8). Joshua Ramos finished 17th and Nathaniel Shin and Sean Bubernak were 20th and 21st.
