Junior Chang leads strong Jackson girls swim squad

Wolfpack standout has state times in all but one individual event

Jackson's Mia Chang finished third in the 100 backstroke finals at last year's 4A championships.

Jackson junior Mia Chang has picked up where she left off from last season.

That's a positive development for Chang and the Timberwolves.

Chang, who finished third in the 100-yard backstroke at state, started off the year with times that were about as fast as she was at the end of last season. Chang's performance at the 4A state championships was one to be rememberd.

The Jackson standout competed in the three final events of the meet – 100-yard backstroke, 100 breaststroke, and 400 freestyle relay. Chang placed third in the 100 backstroke and then won the consolation finals of the 100 b...
