If anyone said, “Give me 50% of your money and I will take care of you,” you'd be skeptical and ask a lot of questions. Between the School Board, Fire District, cities, county, state, federal government, and a multitude of other taxing districts, we pay a lot in taxes and we want even more services. Some taxes are voter approved and others are passed by our elected officials. How much you pay and your quality of life is what you are deciding with your ballot.
