Garth Fell for county auditor

Letter to the Editor

Last updated 10/18/2019 at 5:55pm

Garth Fell is the right choice for county auditor. The position leads a host of county services, most critical among them, our elections.

Nationally and state certified as an elections administrator, Garth has overseen more than 80 elections, creating a transparent process with accurate and accessible results.

Serving as elections manager, Garth has worked with leaders across Snohomish County and the state to ensure our elections are for everyone, where all can participate and have their vote counted. But his work goes far beyond just organizing elections. He has played a leading role implementing changes to how the office operates to better serve Snohomish County residents.

That’s why he’s been endorsed by elected leaders of ours who I trust, including County Executive Dave Somers, State Representative and Acting Speaker of the House John Lovick, and Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin.

Best of all, Garth has been endorsed by current auditor Carolyn Weikel, state auditor Pat McCarthy, and a bipartisan group of county auditors across the state who are respected for managing secure, inclusive elections.

These leaders have endorsed Garth because they know he is a hard worker and a collaborator, who they can work with to further secure and improve our election process here in Snohomish County.

Join me, and leaders around the county, in voting Garth Fell for auditor this November.
