A newly formed Climate Action Advisory Committee will provide recommendations about policies and practices to protect public health, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, address climate change, and preserve the natural environment in Snohomish County.
Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers announced the formation of this new committee in his budget address on Sept. 24.
“Snohomish County is committed to taking meaningful action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support climate change resiliency,” Somers said. “Our health and way of life depend on us doing our part.”
