Student art will fill Community Resource Center

Everett Public Schools and the Everett Public Schools Foundation (EPSF) will stage separate Student Art Shows for elementary and middle school students as well as high school artists over the three months.
As it has for the past five years, the best work of student artists will be displayed in the foyer of the Community Resource Center through April at 3900 Broadway in Everett. The exhibits will be available for viewing Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The artwork from elementary school students will be displayed at the Community Resource Center from March 4 through March 22, while the efforts of middle school students will be available for viewing beginning on April 9 until April 22.
The awards reception for the high school competition has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 24. The awards will include the Superintendent’s Choice Award, presented by out-going district superintendent Dr. Gary Cohn. One high school senior will receive the Everett Public Schools Foundation Scholarship Award for artwork submitted in visual arts.
Middle school artwork will be on display from May 6-31, with a special awards presentation set for May 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Resource Center.
