It’s a good bet that all seven people who will serve on the Mill Creek City Council will be in one room next month when applicants are interviewed to fill the unexpired term of Jared Mead, who began his tenure as a state legislator in Olympia.
The 27-year-old native son was elected to replace Republican Mark Harmsworth as one of two representatives from the 44th District in the general election held in November. The 2019 Legislative session in the state capitol was called to order on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
