Beacon publisher wins newspaper association's top award

Paul Archipley, owner of Beacon Publishing, picked up the top award Friday, Oct. 12, in Yakima at the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association’s 131st convention.
Archipley was honored with the Miles Turnball Editor Publisher Award, the convention’s highest honor for editors and publishers.
Each year, it is awarded to “an editor or publisher who has worked hard and unselfishly and made a significant contribution to his or her newspaper, community and state, as well as to WNPA.”
