Glacier Peak came up short in its bid for a second straight trip to the state semifinals.

Michael Poe headed in the game-winning goal off a long throw in by Alec LaBarge as Sumner stunned the Grizzlies 3-2 in the second overtime period in a 4A quarterfinal boys soccer game Saturday, May 19, at Glacier Peak High School.
