Sen. Hobbs’ office will remain open during his deployment

State Sen. Steve Hobbs will be deployed next month to Estonia as part of the Armys Military Exchange Program. The Democratic served tours of duty in Afghanistan before returning home to Lake Stevens to be with his young family and serve his community. The senators filed office will remain open while he is on active duty, according to Jennifer Smolen, Hobbs legislative assistant who will be available to help residents of the 44th Legislative District. Constituents can reach the field office at 425-334-2092.
Military obligations will take state Sen. Steve Hobbs (D-Lake Stevens) away from his district next month when he is deployed to Estonia as part as part of the Army's Military Reserve Exchange Program.
The senator’s office will remain open while Hobbs fulfills his commitment as a member of the Washington National Guard. The senator’s legislative assistant, Jennifer Smolen, will fill in for the lawmaker during his absence to assist constituents in the 44th Legislative District.
