Are pesticides really safe?

Pesticide Toxicity is measured using an equation called LD-50. The higher the number, the lower the toxicity. Most pesticides have an LD-50 of between 2,000 and 5,000. Pesticides are not edible, but by comparison, table salt has an LD-50 of 3,000.
In the end, pesticides can be very beneficial when used in the proper amount to control harmful pests. When in doubt, call the Experts at Pratt Pest Control at 360-629-7378.
