Senior center suspends cannabis education

The series of educational programs designed to provide seniors in the community an opportunity to learn more about the medical benefits of cannabis were abruptly canceled by the director of the Mill Creek Senior Center.
The classes for March and April have been rescheduled at senior facilities in Bothell and Shoreline.
“Nobody called to demand the classes be canceled,” Terry Schuler said. “The decision was mine. The classes were moved after I realized that Mill Creek has a moratorium on all things related to marijuana and cannabis. We did not want to upset anybody at City Hall.”...
