When should I take my child to the dentist for the first check-up?

Kids should see a pediatric dentist when their first tooth appears and no later than their first birthday. Remember, two is too late!
This first visit establishes a dental home for your child. We assess your child's risk for cavities and take steps to prevent them. We help your child through thumb/pacifier habits, teething issues, and growth & development issues.
And, we are here to help right away if your child has a toothache or injury. So, this first visit is the start of a great relationship so your child can enjoy a childhood of good oral health.
