The smile on the face of Kira Spraggins is something only another mother would understand.
The Mill Creek mom relishes the sight of her son Donny playing with toys on the floor like other children. Happiness has been a rare an emotion for the Mill Creek mom in the two years since her son suffered a severe brain injury when he was only two days old that left him with cerebral palsy.
The toys that little Donny plays with were adopted for him through the HuskyADAPT, a UW organization that works with community members, health clinics and families to adapt toys and other products for children...
