Sunrise, sunset. Swiftly goes the senior year for seniors at Jackson

The seniors at Jackson High School will be gathering next Tuesday for what class leaders hope will become a tradition for others to follow.
Twelfth graders have been invited to watch the sunrise together as a class at Louise Boren Park in Seattle at 6a.m. to bring members of the class together before the official start of classes at the only high school in Mill Creek. If all goes well, the class will gather again in June to watch a sunset just before graduation to end the year together.
“This year’s seniors are starting a new tradition a sunrise and sunset swiftly through the years!” Diane Bradford, the communications coordinator for the Everett School District said with a smile. “I feel a Fiddler on the Roof song coming on.”
