Last updated 7/25/2017 at Noon

Restriping of roadway lines in Mill Creek is scheduled for Saturday, July 29. The work, which will be done by Snohomish County crews, is expected to take place between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Lines to be restriped include lane lines, bike lanes, fog lines (also known as the white lines that mark the edge of the roadway), and center lines. A map showing impacted areas is available at Crews will stripe one lane at a time and will not close traffic lanes.

“There will be two trucks. One truck will place cones close to the lanes while they stripe and a second truck will remove cones after the paint is dry as part of a moving operation,” said Acting Public Works Director Kamal Mahmoud. “The paint should dry quickly, especially with the hot temperature.”

Drivers and bicyclists should avoid driving over the paint while it’s wet.
