Archbishop Murphy take third | Boys golf

Archbishop Murphy finished third at the 2A state boys golf championships May 24 at Creek at Qualchan Golf Course in Spokane.

Jackson McClincy was the Wildcats’ top finisher in third place. He finished with a 152 (78-74) behind Othello’s Patrick Azevedo, who won with a 149 (73-76).

Archbishop Murphy’s Matthew Pabisz tied for 13th with a 157 (80-77) and Steve Shih was 31st with a 164 (81-83). Fulton Brawner shot an 87 and did not advance to the second round.

The Wildcats finished behind Liberty of Issaquah and Columbia River.
