When all the dust finally settled, three incumbents and two challengers had thrown their hat into the ring to fill four positions of the Mill Creek City Council.
Mayor Pam Pruitt and Mayor Pro Tem Brian Holtzclaw will go into the August primary unopposed.
Two-term Planning Commissioner Jared Mead filed to enter the open race for the Position #2 seat that Councilmember Donna Michelson has held more than 18 years. The council’s longest tenured member waited until the last hours of the filing period before deciding to not run for a new four-year term.
