Lane closures are expected to cause traffic delays on sections of the Bothell-Everett Hwy. until at least September while utility crews from PUD replace 9,000 circuit feet of underground cable.
Work on the six-month project began on April 17 on the main arterial from 148th Street SE to 32nd Avenue SE, from Village Green Drive to 148th Street SE and from Mill Creek Road to Village Green Drive.
Traffic lanes may be impacted even though the major part of the constriction will be contained on the shoulder and grassy areas adjacent to the roadway. Flaggers and traffic control devices have been established to help local residents navigate through the construction zones.
The utility has received permits for lane closures on Mill Creek Road and Seattle Hill Road weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and on Village Green Drive between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
