Wolfpack ties for district title | Boys swimming

Jackson and Kamiak shared top honors at the 4A District 1 boys swimming championships.

The Timberwolves and Knights tied for first place, each scoring 482 points, in the Saturday, Feb. 11 meet at Snohomish Aquatic Center.

Jackson’s Jon Cook won the 200 individual in 1:52.57 and the 100 breaststroke in 56.36, both state cuts. Cook is the defending champion in both events.

Teammate Jeremiah Tien won the 100 butterfly in a state qualifying time of 52.65 and finished second in the 200 individual medley in 1:58.74, also a state cut.
