Jackson looks to finish strong | Boys basketball

The Jackson boys basketball team is in an unfamiliar position.

The Timberwolves, who had a seven-year state tournament appearance streak snapped last season, currently are in seventh place in the Wesco 4A with a 1-3 league record and an overall mark of 6-4.

The Wolfpack dropped their first league contests to Monroe (54-49), Mount Vernon (52-49) and Glacier Peak (64-41) before picking up its first win, 56-48 over Cascade on Jan 3.

The victory over the Bruins followed success at the Surf ‘N Slam tournament in San Diego over the holiday break. Jackson dropped its first game to Scripps Ran...
