Mill Creek’s Urban Whey welcomes new owner

Urban Whey, a local charcuterie store known for its bistro boxes, platters, and grazing tables, has a new owner, Savanah Shore.

“Urban Whey, established by three amazing women, has built a loyal following with its commitment to using locally sourced ingredients and offering gluten-free substitutions,” Shore said.

“The store has become a staple in the community, known for its high-quality charcuterie options that cater to everything from a small snack to large gatherings.

“I'm incredibly grateful and excited to build on the legacy that the previous owners have created. Urban Whey has always been about bringing people together through good food, and I am continuing that tradition while adding my own personal touch."

Shore spends her free time with her boyfriend, friends, family, and fur babies. She enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring new cuisines and wines.

“This love for food and community will be reflected in the offerings and atmosphere at Urban Whey,” she said.

Under Shore’s ownership, Urban Whey will continue to offer its bistro boxes, including the Petite, Mini, Mini Duo, Sidekick, Mingle, and Merger, as well as a variety of platters like the Gathering, Crowd, Celebration, and Shindig.

The store will also feature custom grazing tables, with wine tastings to enhance the charcuterie experience.
